Stockholm

Stockholm is the capital and the largest city of Sweden and constitutes the most populated urban area in Scandinavia.It is the site of the national Swedish government, the Riksdag (parliament), and the official residence of the Swedish monarch as well as the prime minister.


Since 1980, the monarch has resided at Drottningholm Palace outside of Stockholm and uses the Royal Palace of Stockholm as his workplace and official residence.

As of 2010, the Stockholm metropolitan area is home to approximately 22% of Sweden's population. Stockholm is the most populous city in Sweden, with a population of 847,073 in the municipality (2010), 1.25 million in the urban area (2005), and more than 2 million in the metropolitan area (2010).

As usual, we visited the city all the day, walking and going to museum as "Nobel Museum". Unfortunately, taking photo was forbidden.

We saw the changing of the guard.

This city is both modern and ancient architecture is original and it was a wonderful discovery.
The negativ point is the fact that all is very expensive (like in Finland).

The hostel was in a boat that's for why it was great to be housed there.


To finish, like there was a lot of snow into  the city, we decided to skying a little bit, just for fun.
